to my surprise, i found black patent jimmy choo pumps on sale while shopping in toronto recently. oh how lucky i have been this year for shoes! 

review: burberry equestrian rain boots

the details of the boots are much nicer than they appear in the photos online. the rubber is thick, sturdy, not glossy and doesn't look cheap. from a far, it could pass for leather, especially with the leather detailing.

   

boot length (floor to highest point): aprox. 18"
material: sturdy rubber that scratches (not very noticable though) and not very breathable when walking around indoors all day
leg opening at the top: 14" for size 39. the opening is smaller for smaller sizes

another item to cross off my wishlist: nude christian louboutin prorata pumps

i've wanted christian louboutin nude pumps for about 3.5 years now and i finally gave it and purchased a pair. i hoping to find a pair of pumps that aren't too high (4" maximum) with a small platform and surprisingly i found them in my size already. i was actually quite lucky because the only sizes they had in the back were too big but the wonderful sales associated double checked for me and found a pair on reserve that was never picked up in my size!

recent purchase: stuart weitzman grey patent peep toe

i purchased these shoes last winter (on sale at >50% off), but due to the weather here in montreal, i haven't had a chance to wear them yet. to be honest, i didn't think i would own a pair of grey shoes, because i'm pretty boring when it comes to shoes. i stick to styles that are basic and will not go out of style  - black pumps, black peep toe, black ankle books - basically a whole lot of black shoes. but since i've recently decided that i don't need many more purses i should invest in more interesting shoes this year. and let's be honest, i need to get out of my boring black shoes rut.
