review: burberry equestrian rain boots

the details of the boots are much nicer than they appear in the photos online. the rubber is thick, sturdy, not glossy and doesn't look cheap. from a far, it could pass for leather, especially with the leather detailing.

boot length (floor to highest point): aprox. 18"
material: sturdy rubber that scratches (not very noticable though) and not very breathable when walking around indoors all day
leg opening at the top: 14" for size 39. the opening is smaller for smaller sizes

these boots are great for the winter time when there's slush, meltng snow and salt poured onto the sidewalks. they are easy to clean with a damp cloth but as mentioned about they do get scratched. i'm not exactly sure how i scratched them, but it did not create any holes or damange the boots in anyway so that water would go through it.

i love the fact that the boots are not flashy, and that the burberry check is shown in the lining of the boots. the only downside for me is the fact that the leg opening was too small for my size and i had to purchase a size larger so that my leg would fit in.
