review: burberry equestrian rain boots
the details of the boots are much nicer than they appear in the photos online. the rubber is thick, sturdy, not glossy and doesn't look cheap. from a far, it could pass for leather, especially with the leather detailing.
boot length (floor to highest point): aprox. 18"
material: sturdy rubber that scratches (not very noticable though) and not very breathable when walking around indoors all day
leg opening at the top: 14" for size 39. the opening is smaller for smaller sizes

Manicure of the week: romantique, beau and cream puff shellac
All the pretty colors at the salon and I was suggested to try one layer of romantique, one layer of beau followed by two coats of cream puff on top.

another item to cross off my wishlist: nude christian louboutin prorata pumps
i've wanted christian louboutin nude pumps for about 3.5 years now and i finally gave it and purchased a pair. i hoping to find a pair of pumps that aren't too high (4" maximum) with a small platform and surprisingly i found them in my size already. i was actually quite lucky because the only sizes they had in the back were too big but the wonderful sales associated double checked for me and found a pair on reserve that was never picked up in my size!

recent purchase: louis vuitton alma pm in vernis amarante with hot stamped initials
i get to cross off an item on my 2012 wishlist! i was not sure about the material or colour of the alma when i made my wishlist because i was debating between the plum epi electric alma and the vernis amarante. i originally preferred the epi electric since the pattern is more subtle, but after trying on both bags at the store the amarante (deep purple colour) stood out more.
